The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of 3 main parts: knowledge development, 5 confined water dives and 4 open water dives. You can choose one of three ways to complete your course.

Price: The price of the PADI Open Water Diver Classic Course with Coral Point Diving is US $ 350 and includes your book, all dives, including boat dives, equipment, certification fees and logbook. The course is done over 3 days. With the new PADI digital products available from PADI, you can immediately receive the digital version of the Open Water manual. We just need a deposit of $ 100 that will be deducted from the total amount due when the course is completed here in the DR.. More and more students are opting for this option because it is also environmentally friendly. Let us know.Below is a brief description to illustrate the course of this course. This program is not fixed but can undergo variations depending on the time, the theoretical and practical ability of the students and the size of the class. Furthermore, the three days may not be consecutive.
Day 1 (half day) 8.30am – 1pm – it starts with a brief orientation of the course including a short theoretical session followed by exercises in confined waters. At the end the student will receive the digital material of the course and, if necessary, a tablet will be given to the student for the duration of the course and with which he can view the videos of the Open Water course comfortably in his Hotel, on the beach or where he feels more comfortable without having to stay at the diving center
Day 2 (full day) 8.30am – 4pm, 2 dives to a maximum depth of 12 meters in the morning. Theoretical session for the afternoon and / or extra practice session in confined waters if necessary.
Day 3 (half day / full day) from 8.30am – 2 dives in the morning. In the afternoon, final exam if not previously completed and celebration. Students receives at this time his license and and his logbook.
