And how do you do this in a way that&#8217;s safe and good for the environment? That&#8217;s what you will learn in this short class. Remember: if you clean it well the <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1592 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.coralpointdiving.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/mask2-300x201.jpg\" alt=\"mask clearing\" width=\"222\" height=\"149\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.coralpointdiving.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/mask2-300x201.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.coralpointdiving.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/mask2-1024x685.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.coralpointdiving.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/mask2-768x514.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.coralpointdiving.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/mask2-1536x1028.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.coralpointdiving.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/mask2-272x182.jpg 272w, https:\/\/www.coralpointdiving.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/mask2.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 222px) 100vw, 222px\" \/>first time, the following times will be trouble free!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>There are in total 5 main (proven) steps to make sure your mask will not fog up during your dives (please, don&#8217;t burn it and <a title=\"Shall we burn a mask when new? expert told us the truth\" href=\"https:\/\/www.coralpointdiving.com\/blog\/2022\/09\/14\/shall-we-burn-a-mask-when-new-expert-told-us-the-truth\/\">read here why<\/a>):<\/p>\n<p>1 Put a small amount of white (no gel) <strong>toothpaste<\/strong> or soft-scrub on the <strong>dry glass<\/strong> on the inside of the mask. Mask needs to be dry for best result. For even better results leave the toothpaste overnight. If you don&#8217;t have toothpaste available you can also use dish washing soap, baby shampoo or use a commercial de-fogging spray (eco-version)<\/p>\n<p>2 Give it a good <strong>rubbing<\/strong> over the entire glass. This will rub off the small residue of silicone on the glass.<\/p>\n<p>3 <strong>Rinse<\/strong> the mask with fresh water very thoroughly.<\/p>\n<p>4 Dry the mask and <strong>repeat<\/strong> this procedure once more and please take your time to clean it once more.<\/p>\n<p>5 <strong>Go dive<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Put a small amount of white toothpaste or soft-scrub on the dry glass on the inside of the mask.
