At Coral Point we offer flexible dive packages and special trips like Peñon and Catalina. We keep groups small—maximum four/five divers per Divemaster—to ensure a relaxed and personalized experience. We are a science‑based, community‑oriented dive shop dedicated to marine research and conservation. Our team works with marine biologists and trained instructors in scientific diving and reef‑health monitoring. Our main conservation efforts include: Community Monitoring of key reefs like Atlantic Princess and Magallanes. Dive Against Debris cleanup dives in the Bayahibe area. Coral Nursery Programs, helping restore endangered Acropora cervicornis. All divers are welcome to learn about and support our conservation work. You can also become an underwater photographer by renting a GoPro and using it under instructor supervision—just request it when booking.

Visit the BlogKeep neutral buoyancy and horizontal trim. Add small air bursts to your BCD and move slowly to protect corals and visibility.
Use gentle frog kicks or modified flutter. Avoid stirring the bottom—sand clouds reduce visibility and can damage marine life.
Look, don’t touch. Keep a respectful distance from turtles, rays and seahorses; never chase or block their path.
Check pressure and NDL regularly with your buddy. Signal your guide at 100 bar and start a relaxed ascent plan.
Keep hands close to the body; use slow finning to hold position. Avoid grabbing rocks, corals or the boat ladder underwater.
Use reef‑safe sunscreen, bring a reusable bottle, and follow your guide’s eco‑briefing to minimize impact.
